There is something peculiar happening at Market Harborough Library this summer! Children aged 3-12 years can take part in Animal Agents, an exciting free reading challenge taking place in all Leicestershire libraries including mobiles from the 8th July.
From solving the case of the graffiti writing to the strange case of the missing lunch children can join in the fun by reading six library books or e-books throughout the summer and will be able to collect six stickers – including some smelly ones – for their collector’s card. Participants will also be rewarded with a fold-up game and door hanger as they read their books and a certificate and medal when they complete the challenge. For those children completing the challenge at Market Harborough Library there will also be an extra reward of a free ice-cream from Gallone’s Ice-Cream Parlour.
Look out for Animal Agents events in your library. For more information about Animal Agents call in at your local library or visit the website: www.leicestershire.gov.uk/libraries
It’s free to join the library and there’s something for all the family to enjoy!
