Access to online resources

There are a number of online resources available at Symington 1 that can be used in the library and local studies centre to support research. By logging onto a library PC, customers can access free subscriptions to Ancestry Library Edition, Find my Past Library Edition and the British Newspaper Archive: Community Edition.

To use a PC, you just need to join the library to get your logon details.

There are a number of online resources which can be accessed from home using your library card number and PIN. For more information, read about our online resources and reference library.

Joining the library is free. If you are 16 or over you can join online. If you are under 16 then you will need to visit any Leicestershire library with a parent or guardian.
