Mysterious new treasure

A new piece of treasure is on display at Harborough Museum, in the Treasure20 case. This case celebrates 20 years of the Treasure Act and features examples of treasure acquired through the act.

This is a silver seal matrix, found at Cotesbach and it features an inscription mentioning a secret. Come and read more about it at Harborough Museum, as well as the other treasure on display.
