Sowing and Growing at home

Sowing and Growing at home

March 12, 2021 June 30, 2021

Our friends at Melton Carnegie Museum are introducing a new project “Sowing and Growing at the Museums” and would like to include you!

At Melton Carnegie Museum, the team have been growing vegetables with volunteers in their back yard for a couple of years, to help people understand where food comes from. The district of Harborough has a long history of growing food, which is why we’re inviting you to join in.

Whether you’re new to sowing seeds or an old hand in the garden, we’d like you to join us and share your ideas and tips. We’ll be posting our progress regularly and showing you what you’ll need to get started.

Listen to Kate Skoczylas, our Volunteer Officer, introduce the Sowing and Growing project.

What you will need

Join Kate to see all of the things you will need to get started sowing and growing!
