Harborough Museum is home to the Harborough toys, which were found hidden in the church of St Dionysius. Older toys were very different from toys today, as they were often made from wood or bone.
Make your own Victorian toy, called a thaumatrope. This toy used an optical illusion to delight people. Follow the instructions on the ‘Made by Joel’ website to try this at home – you can even come up with your own design!
