ICT Suite

The ICT suite provides free Internet access through a bank of 12 PCs. Computers are available to the public but pre-booking is advised, which you can do using Netloan. The Local Studies Centre also has a bank of PCs for public use.

All you need to use one of the library computers is a library card and PIN. Library members are allowed up to 7 hours per week free computer use, maximum of 3 hours per day (additional use over 7 hours per week £1.00 per half hour). Library members who are unemployed, or children are allowed an additional 7 hours per week free computer use, maximum of 3 hours per session (additional use over the 14 hours per week £1.00 per half hour). Visitor computer use is £1.50 per half hour.

Free Wi-Fi is also available in the building accessed using your library card and PIN. If you’re interested in finding out more about using the Internet, why not try one of our Taster Sessions?

There is also a facility for printing and scanning.
